The study of Investigation of Distribution of thEAtherosclerotic Lesions in Stroke Patients (IDEAL, 2015-2017) is a pilot study that investigated the distribution of atherosclerotic disease in the entire stroke-related vascular beds including intracranial artery, extracranial carotid artery, and aortic arch and their predictive value for ischemic stroke.
